• most of our horses are backed by either the staff here at mullacott or Dan Wilson at Practical Horsemanship (he also rides for Monty Roberts on his Uk and international tours)- to give them the best start possible.
• We have many rescued horses from ponies off of the moor to ex racehorses that we have given another chance at life.
• Our horses are kept in a happy retirement and not discarded at the end of their working lives.
• Our horses are our friends and are treated as such, not money making machines.

We believe that we offer our horses the best lives possible. They have regular visits from the dentist & McTimoney manipulators to keep them happy and able in their work. We use Cair saddles, gel filled neoprene girths for extra comfort & simple bridles with no severe bits or straps to keep their mouths shut & heads down.
